Then I shaved the other Side of my face with the Permasharp, and it was Night & Day! Immediately less Tug & Pull with the Permasharp, and in One Pass I had a closer shave than with 2 passes on the Left side (GSB). I have a problem area on the sides of my mouth, that I have trouble getting the dark 5 O'clock shadow from. What I found was decidedly more tug, and more stubble left with the GSB than usual on the first pass, Then did a 2nd pass and found pretty much the same thing. I Shaved half my face with the GSB installed with my usual Prep, and 24 hrs between shaving time. The Rockwell 6s Plate #4 (Pending Completion of testing with Different base plates on the Timeless 0.95 gap). And My Results Were Completely Different! I did a search and came across his test, and decided to conduct a simplified verification on my own. I was wondering about conducting the same test, as the GSB was a Blade I have never tried out of the dozen or so I have tried in my quest for my Go to blades / Razors / Creams / Pre-Shaves. So these test can only offer a guide, and entertainment. Different Blades are going to react differently in different Razors, AND on DIFFERENT PEOPLE!!! a Particular Razor might favor a particular blade and Skin / Beard Type. I'm convinced that the only thing it proves is that he found what was best for him. I want to congratulate him on his being scientific controlling variables and the Randomness of his test.
