1/17/2024 0 Comments Madcap experiment mtgdecks(Or maybe I just need to finally build an Edric Deck.)Įdit: Completely unrelated, BUT I just realized that I totally need to throw Tetsuko in my Brudiclad deck. I just think there is some fun jank with getting stuff through unblocked and there there is some potential there for a silly deck. With all the being said, I don't really care if you include all of the cards or concepts listed. The main problem is that in EDH there isn't really a way to have both in the command zone and otherwise they are mono colored commanders and can't go in each others deck. There would also be a bunch of 1 toughness creatures, so you could alternatively throw equipment (that only buffs power) onto them and swing through unblocked. The deck would be an equipment deck and you would try to pile things onto valduk to create a ton of unblockable elementals. So, I had this really janky idea for a standard deck with ] and ]. Since we're running a large amount of land auras, Ley Weaver lets us get crazy ramp so we can cast Omniscience a lot faster, and Lore Weaver can draw us into our combo pieces once we get a ton of mana online. ] and ] haven't seen much play since their release, but I think they're both highly underrated. If Jace is banished, then our alternate plan is with casting ] and draining our opponents out by casting all our enchantments. Once we get these two pieces on board, we want to cast as many enchantments as possible, drawing through our entire deck, before we cast ] and win through his effect. This enchantress plan is to set up the main combo of our deck: ] and ]/]. We're running a lot of enchantments that sacrifice themselves with the intention of later replaying them with Muldrotha and accumulating advantage. So, this is a Sultai Enchantress deck with Muldrotha at the helm. He's worth more than 10% of the whole deck, but I thought he wore so many hats that he was worth inclusion.ĮDIT: Oh! I forgot to say that Nevinyrral's Disk is also a sweeper effect we can recur, and using Neurok Transmuter and March, we can turn all our stuff into Blue to make it a one-sided wipe We're already running ] to turn our Blue into _, but he's pretty good at consistent card advantage, removal, and ramp in an artifact deck. Muzzio works quite well at the helm of this, and lets us dig for some of our more powerful pieces, but if you're worried about politics, Padeem would also be a good commander who would fly under the radar. So this deck is made around that idea: animate your artifacts, swing in with them, and Blue them up if they're in danger. I think the best application for Blueing yourself, aside from confusing your opponents, is that you can dodge type sweepers that would usually punish you for animating your artifacts. I was trying to find out a reason why I would like having Blue.
